During April, I participated in the competition Magicfest, by The Writer’s Workout. I’ve participated in their events before, and it’s always a great chance to practice and receive feedback on my writing. For the competition’s three events, participating writer’s had to write and complete three separate short stories, with every event taking place during seventy-two hours. Like every time I participate in their competition’s, I’m amazed at what participants can imagine, write, and edit during such a short timespan.
For Magicfest, I’m happy to announce that I finished second for the second event, which means that my short story for that event, Crafting a Dream, was published in the Magicfest anthology.
